The Big Plant Based Lunch in Truro

The Big Lunch was started in 2009 by the Eden Project and has since spread successfully nationwide.  Its idea was to spread a sense of community by bringing friends and neighbours together in shared spaces for an annual lunch every June.  With over 7 million people now taking part, the project has gone from strength to strength.

Although a great idea, I'm sure there are many vegans out there that would love to take part in this community spirited idea but would prefer to avoid any event where non-vegan food is shared.  Fear not though as there are alternatives, and one of them is here in Cornwall.  If you are in the Truro area this coming Sunday, why not drop in to the Big Plant-Based Lunch taking place at Penair School's Community Vegetable Plot from 12pm till 2pm?
